In March 2002, the Russian Academy of Sciences and Russian Space Agency (RosAviaCosmos) decided
to provide a top priority for the Radioastron mission. It means an increase of the project financial support.

Official message about this decision has been sent to NASA, ESA, NRAO, EVN, CSIRO.
